We believe everyone is creative. While creativity is central to art, it is not only about painting, music, or writing. It is also about how we express ourselves, solve day to day challenges, and bring our particular gifts to the world. This will be an almost entirely interactive Q and A session and an opportunity to ask questions that you need help on. It will help if you bring some understanding of your Enneagram point.

To begin, Catherine and Russ will briefly discuss a core approach each of the Nine Points brings to the creative process and we will explore the gifts and challenges of each of these points. We will be looking at each of the Points as a potential portal into creativity rather than the sole domain of a single Enneagram type. 

We will then open the floor, and you can ask any question you wish about your creative projects or about the creative process in general. Whether you identify as an artist, entrepreneur, healer, or as someone who wants more creative freedom, this session will provide insights, tools, and inspirations to unlock your creative possibilities.

Meet Your Hosts:

Catherine R. Bell 

Catherine is the Founder and Author of The Awakened Company. Catherine helps organizations create healthy corporate cultures through executive coaching, team strategy sessions, team facilitation, speaking, and online webinars. She is an award-winning Profit 500 Founder, serial entrepreneur, and best-selling author. Catherine has recently co-founded a mindfulness app, Awakenly, which uses the Enneagram to ground people into presence and transform their realities.

Catherine has an MBA from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, a Sociology degree from Western University, is Certified in the Enneagram, and is a yoga instructor. She was a Jarislowsky Co-Fellow at the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. She teaches at Smith (Queen’s School of Business).

Catherine has been on many not-for-profit Boards. She currently sits on Tara Mandala’s Board of Trustees, and is Founder of The Awakened Project, to help people get out of poverty.

Catherine finds her creativity at the intersections and by colouring outside of the lines. She loves reading, film, theatre, writing, playing with poetry, good food, windsurfing, tennis, being a momma, creation of a home, fashion, and creativity in how organizations are led and created.

Russ Hudson

Over the last three decades, Russ Hudson has established himself as one of the top teachers and developers of the Enneagram personality typology in the world today. He has been writing and teaching full-time since 1991 and has co-authored with Don Richard Riso five best-selling books on the subject, including The Wisdom of the Enneagram and Personality Types. He is also the author of the audiobook The Enneagram: Nine Gateways to Presence. These books are widely considered to be not only groundbreaking contributions in the field of Enneagram studies, but also important contributions to the literature of psychological type.  

Russ is the founder and president of Russ Hudson Consulting and is the co-founder of the Enneagram Institute as well as a Founding Director and former Vice-President of the International Enneagram Association—a global organization advancing knowledge of the subject.

He holds a degree in East Asian Studies from Columbia University in New York, from which he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
