Purpose. What is your and your organization’s higher purpose?
Craig Kielburger‘s higher purpose is to empower people and he’s up to a lot of good! Craig’s the Co-Founder of Me to We, an innovative social enterprise that provides products that make an impact, empowering people to change the world with their everyday consumer choices. Me to We measures the bottom line by the people empowered and the lives transformed. Check out one of his most recent initiatives. He is definitely awakening the world!
Craig feels that involving his employees directly in the higher purpose of Me to We helps to create a humane company culture.
“I’d say…things like ensuring that we connect the mission and role as clearly as possible to people, and partially how we do that is for example, every two years we do a staff trip, where it doesn’t matter if you are a receptionist, or janitorial staff…everyone has the opportunity to go on a volunteer trip to see the projects and understand how the work they do connects to the projects,” says Kielberger.
